With 31 years of banking experience, Cyndie has experience and expertise in small business lending, commercial lending, residential development and construction, and rental investment property lending. She has a B.A. from Shenandoah University, and attended the Louisiana State Graduate School of Banking. She is also a graduate of the West Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. Cyndie’s involvement in the community includes organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Lions Club, and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Darcus brings over 35 years of banking experience in the areas of retail banking, lending and wealth management. She is a graduate of Lord Fairfax Community College and James Madison University with a Bachelors degree in Management and a minor in Economics. As a native of Frederick County, she is very involved in the community. She has been an active member of Rotary for over 25 years and serves on several committees in the Winchester Rotary. She is the past chair and current secretary for the United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Darcus serves on the board of the Community Foundation of Northern Shenandoah Valley and participates in the Non-Profit Alliance initiatives. She is also active with the Worlds of Work (WOW) committee and with the Blue Ridge Association of Realtors affiliate team.

Elliott has twelve years of banking experience and has been successful in developing valued relationships in the Shenandoah Valley. He graduated with a B. S. from James Madison University. His community involvement includes serving on the board for the Waynesboro Kiwanis Club and as a children's Sunday school teacher at Bridge Church.

With over 19 years of experience in the banking industry, Joe brings a deep understanding of financial services and relationship management. He is a proud graduate of Averett University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. Currently based in Chesterfield, Virginia, he balances his professional life with an active role in his community. As a dedicated father of two, he spends much of his time coaching multiple sports teams for each of his children in the Chesterfield area, finding joy in both mentorship and the competitive spirit of youth athletics

Joe brings over 40 years of banking experience and is retired President and CEO of Sonabank/Southern National Bancorp (formerly EVB/Eastern Virginia Bankshares). Joe is responsible for community impact and all lines of business banking and business development in the expanded footprint, following the 2024 merger with Touchstone Bank.
Joe was appointed in 2023 by Governor Glen Youngkin as the Executive Director of the Small Business Financing Authority (VSBFA). In addition, Joe is the Founder and CEO of Jamescrest Consulting Group, whose mission is to assist organizations develop strategies to help improve their efficiencies, productivity, and profitability. A graduate, and now trustee, of North Carolina Wesleyan University, Joe has served as board member for Infinex Financial Services, Virginia Bankers Association, and director and previous chairman of Virginia Association of Community Banks. Currently he is director and Chairman of the Board for Community Bankers Bank. Joe is very active in the community, serving with many non-profit organizations.

Kathryn attended Virginia Tech, where she earned a B.S. in Dairy Science. She has experience in commercial agricultural lending. She currently resides in Staunton, but grew up on a family dairy farm in Vermont. Kathryn is very involved in the community including the Augusta Young Professionals Group, active in the Chamber, Augusta County Young Farmers Group, local 4-H and local FFA groups.

Lincoln was born and raised in Winchester and is a 1982 graduate of John Handley High School. He currently serves as a senior board member of the Judges Athletic Association. With a passion for working with small to mid-sized businesses, Lincoln is committed to helping clients uncover opportunities to grow, streamline operations, and thrive in today’s dynamic marketplace. After spending the past 14 years working outside the area, he is excited to return to his roots and become more actively involved in the community.

Mark brings over 45 years of commercial and retail banking experience. His primary function is in commercial lending, while seeking to meet the needs of clients with ancillary bank services and products.He has degrees in Business Management and Marketing and is a 1989 graduate of the VBA School of Bank Management. As an avid supporter of his community, Mark is the Treasurer, as well as chair of the Audit & Finance Committee, for The Cameron Foundation. Also, he is on the Board of the Richard Bland College Foundation of The College of William & Mary serving as the chair of the Audit & Finance Committee. For over 30 years Mark has been on the Board of the Petersburg Methodist Home for Girls Foundation, having been a past president. Before disbanding, Mark was a 36-year member of the Petersburg Lions Club, having served as a 3-term President and Treasurer. Mark is an active member of Second Presbyterian Church in Petersburg and has served as a Ruling Elder.

Melissia began her banking career in 2001 and brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout her career, she has held roles in retail, operations, and commercial banking. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. Outside of work, Melissia dedicates her time to volunteering at a faith-based school in her community.

Mike has 29 years of banking experience and expertise in commercial lending. He holds a B.B.A. from James Madison, and is a graduate of the CNB School of Compliance, the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, and the First Virginia University College of Management. His community involvement includes volunteering for the Mt Jackson Lions Club, Shenandoah Community Foundation, Bridgebuilder Scholarship Foundation, and a member of the Mt Jackson Economic Development Authority.

With over 25 years of banking experience, Nicole has experience and expertise in branch management, retail banking, small business banking, payroll services, retail lending and small business/commercial lending. Nicole has a passion for partnering with clients to develop a strategic plan to support their business growth by improving cash flow and process efficiencies, through a variety of banking products and services. She is a 2024 graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management. Nicole serves her community has a board member for the Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce.

Paul has 30 years of experience and expertise in Commercial and Investment Real Estate lending and business development. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from Longwood College, and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. His community involvement includes being a member and volunteer for the Valley Mission and the Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

Peter has worked as a commercial lender since 1990. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Virginia and his MBA from Virginia Tech. He has served on the boards of the Kirk Family YMCA (as Treasurer), American Red Cross, and Roanoke Catholic School. He has been on the Board of Southwest Virginia Ballet for 10 years and served as President from 2015 to 2021.

Robin has over 25 years of experience in all areas of commercial and retail banking, specializing in investment real estate. He has a B.A degree in Business Administration and Economics from Catawba College. Robin remains active in his community by serving as a committee member on the Kerr Terr Regional Council business lending board, and as a member of the Vance Granville Homebuilder’s Association. In addition, Robin is active at Island Creek Baptist Church, serving as a deacon, choir member, Sunday School Teacher and in the Baptist Men’s organization.

Sandra has over 27 years of banking experience and has been a lender for almost 20 years. She started at the bank as a high school senior and worked her way up through deposit operations, teller, branch manager/retail loan officer and commercial loan officer. She is a graduate from Radford University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is involved in the Botetourt County Education Foundation, Board of Directors Botetourt County Career & Technical Education and an advisory board member for the American Red Cross.

Susan has over 38 years of experience in the industry. Her expertise is in commercial lending, consumer lending, commercial mortgage lending, construction, small business lending including lines of credit, residential development, investment property lending, management, business development, and auditing. She earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Technology, with a major in management from Laurel Ridge Community College. She also completed studies in commercial lending and commercial mortgage lending at East Carolina University and has taken many other industry related courses. Susan is active in the community including the Front Royal Rotary Club, the JDRF Walk to Cure Juvenile Diabetes, and many more.

Teresa has over 38 years of banking experience in the areas of branch manager, retail loan officer, quality analyst, credit analyst, treasury management/small business lending, deposit operations, bankruptcy/BSA, and loan operations. She attended Virginia Western Community College and completed The Graduate School of Banking at Furman University. A native of Botetourt County, Teresa, currently resides in Fincastle, and is active in the community. She serves as President for the Daleville Fincastle Lions Club, Botetourt Chamber of Commerce Tinsel Trail Committee, and volunteers with Botetourt Food Pantry.

Todd has over 30 years of banking experience in the Roanoke Valley Region, including leadership and production roles with several regional and local banks. He maintains deep relationships with commercial customers throughout the region with a focus on responsive, high-quality service. Todd has a B.S. in Finance from James Madison University and a Masters in Business Administration from Virginia Tech. Todd continues to serve the community on a number of non-profit and municipal boards and commissions.
