Shane brings 27+ years of experience to his current position and has been employed by the bank since 2002. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management at the University of South Carolina and the AICPA National Banking School at the University of Virginia.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Frostburg State University. His community involvement includes serving as Treasurer of the Blue Ridge Youth Soccer Association, Inc. and as Director/volunteer of non-profit organizations supporting music education in public schools.

With 28+ years of experience in general administration, investment portfolio management, credit administration, and retail banking, Dennis is well suited for his position. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from Bridgewater College, and is a graduate of the Oklahoma City University Graduate School of Community Banking. He currently serves on the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council, Shenandoah Community Foundation Board, Virginia Bankers Association MSI Board and is the Chairman of the Virginia Association of Community Banks.

In Virginia banking since 1977, Scott has been a community bank CEO for over 35 years.  Starting right out of college as a teller, he worked his way to the positions of president and chief executive officer of a community bank, at the age of 30.  Community involvement has been a trademark of his career.  His involvement over the years has included United Way, Chambers of Commerce, rural health, local law enforcement, and education.  He is a former chair of the Virginia Bankers Association and has served 14 years on the Board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, five as its Chairman.  He currently serves on the Boards of the Community Bankers Bank in Richmond, the Top of Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury and its foundation, Shrine Mont, and the Virginia Bankers Association.  He holds a B.A. degree from Rollins College and has participated in a number of banking associated schools.
